When Beth first called me to ask about availability for an extended family session she started telling me about the various buildings and backdrops that would be available at her in-laws' farm. Not sure if I started drooling over the potential then or after we hung up. I kid! But seriously...the farm was a photographer's dream. Our day happened to be an incredibly bright and sunny day and the time that worked best for everyone was early afternoon, so unfortunately we had to work around the sun but still managed to find some great locations.
